At the halfway point now i’d say. We’ve got drums, bass, guitars, piano and vocals down for 3 songs. There’s still lot’s of textures to add and ideas to flesh out but we can see how this is shaping up now, it’s very melodic, very earnest and the vibe is really pleasant. These are easily the loveliest collection of songs i’ve ever written.
Very grateful and feeling inspired currently.
4 days to go and all is good. I’m just going to unpack the domino’s, get a fresh pot of tea and break out the Vegan cheeseboard.
